THE ORGANIZATION
Phoenix Foundation for Research & Development (PFRD) is a non-profitable, non-government and humanitarian organization, registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. PFRD is working for the integral development of the marginalized, vulnerable communities without any discrimination of race, creed, gender, and religion in Punjab since 2005.
PFRD came in to existence as a result of in-depth reflection and after having significant review by its likeminded group of men and women concerned for the integral development of the rural and peri-urban society, in response to unsatisfactory development and efforts made for socio-economic development of the marginalized and weaker section of the society.
The objective of the organization is Social, Physical, Psychological and Economic Empowerment of the Marginalized and Vulnerable People Especially Women & Children for Improved Quality of Life through research based rights based approach.

Our teams ensure safe shelters, family tracing and reunification, and protection from exploitation and abuse.
